Our 51st NATIONAL TALENT QUEST...

There will be some parking at or near the venue but the earlier you get there, the closer you will get! If you don't have transport, the FESTIVAL BUS travels along Kathleen Street and will stop in a location close to the venue.

BACKING

If you wish to use the the backing band, you will need to provide three chord charts. Following are two links to sample charts (This does not apply to songwriting where you must provide your own backing.)

For your information, the backing band is Anthony Walmsley (guitar and band leader), Andrew McMahon bass and Matt Parnell drums.

ON ARRIVAL

When you arrive at the venue, CHECK IN at the front desk – even if you are running late. This is very important – you may be missed if you don't check in. The venue has a number of rooms (dressing rooms) where you can leave your gear, get organised, run through your song, whatever. All facilities and amenities are available including food and drink.

The Talent Quest Marshall is LEX GRANT (the tall fellow in the black hat. He is the one to check with if you have any queries about anything on the day/s).

RUNNING ORDERS

The running order for each section will be available 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the section. Contestants are to be in attendance at the same time. Anyone not available at the time of their performance in the running order will simply be shuffled to the back of the order.
